In a former stone salting house, this 90 m² two-story gîte also features a mezzanine and a 13 m² terrace with one of the region’s most beautiful views (woods, forests, mountains, valleys, southwest exposure), set in a tiny, secluded hamlet at 1,000 meters altitude. Two bedrooms are on the ground floor: a master bedroom with a 160 cm bed and separate toilet, and a children’s room with three 90 cm beds. Upstairs, you’ll find a living area with lounge, dining room, kitchen, and a bathroom with walk-in shower and toilet. Enjoy peace, quiet, and natural beauty—perfect for a writer’s or artist’s retreat. Parking is available for cars and motorcycles. Numerous hiking and mountain biking trails are nearby. You can swim at La Chaise-Dieu lake, go canoeing, fishing, or swim in the Allier river, and discover a wealth of cultural heritage (Romanesque churches, abbeys, castles, and more). At 1,000 meters altitude, the main house is nestled in nature, offering a cozy and peaceful setting. Enjoy total silence, broken only by birdsong. It's perfect for working, relaxing, or gathering with family for reunions, celebrations, or other occasions—especially with two gîtes available (accommodating up to 20-25 guests in total). Marvel at the splendid views of Mont Mouchet, the Cantal and Lozère mountains. Numerous hiking trails are nearby. Swimming is possible at the La Chaise-Dieu lake, 18 km away, and there are pools in Brioude and Langeac (25 km). Canoeing and kayaking are available on the Allier River in Langeac. The house features a veranda, a large terrace with views, 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (one with a bathtub), and an open kitchen connected to the living and dining areas. A holiday liability insurance certificate is now required for your stay. Bed linen and towels are included. Heating is available in winter for an extra charge.

A charming traditional house, tastefully furnished, featuring a living room, dining area, kitchen, WC, office, bathroom with bathtub and walk-in shower, plus a master bedroom (queen bed) on the ground floor. Upstairs, there are two bedrooms (one with a queen bed, one with a double), an independent bathroom, and separate WC. In the annex, you'll find a suite with a queen bed and a room with two bunk beds (twin size), as well as a bathroom and WC. The 500 m² garden is filled with flowers and shaded by two beautiful holm oaks. The beach is just a 6-minute bike ride away, and Port Joinville is 1.5 km from the house. Located on a quiet cul-de-sac, it's perfect for relaxing. The house is available for two to six guests, with rates adjusted according to group size. The cleaning fee covers cleaning as well as washing and ironing of sheets and towels.

The Four à Pain has been renovated around an old bread oven and offers two floors across 70 m². The ground floor features a living area with lounge, dining space, kitchen, bathroom with WC and walk-in shower, and a convertible sofa (110 cm). Upstairs, you’ll find antique Chinese furniture, a four-poster bed (90 cm), an opium bed (120 cm), a reception table, and a double bed for two adults (160 cm). Numerous hiking and mountain biking trails are nearby. You can enjoy swimming at the La Chaise-Dieu lake, go canoeing, fish and swim in the Allier river, or explore the region’s rich cultural heritage, including Romanesque churches, abbeys, and castles.
